OUR EDITORIAL APPROACH

Technical clarity is a discipline.

Read CDNML.com’s approach to primary references, technical examples, transparent assumptions, publication metadata, and corrections.

Use primary references for technical claims

CDNML.com’s guides connect important protocol, runtime, and operational discussions to primary references. These include standards documents, official project documentation, and guidance published by the organization responsible for the system being discussed.

Each journal article has one selected editorial reference in its body. The reference supports a specific technical discussion. The article’s worked examples, decision questions, and suggested experiments are editorial analysis and should be evaluated against your own requirements.

State the boundary of an example

Examples are teaching tools. An illustrative latency budget is not a measured CDNML service benchmark. A hypothetical cost scenario is not a vendor quotation. A model deployment record is not a promise that a particular provider accepts that format.

We distinguish content distribution from model execution, request routing from network routing, and application success from a successful HTTP status. Keeping those boundaries clear helps prevent attractive diagrams or aggregate statistics from standing in for a working design.

Make changes traceable

A journal entry displays its publication date. Technical behavior may evolve after publication, so check the current documentation for the specific provider or runtime version before applying an example. Where a material revision is made, its modification metadata should reflect the actual revision.

We do not treat search volume, ranking difficulty, or a business performance number as a fact without measured evidence. The site’s content structure follows relevant questions and topics rather than a promise of a particular search ranking.

Help improve a guide

Send corrections to [email protected]. Include the article address, the passage in question, a description of the problem, and a primary reference when one is available. Please avoid including customer information, credentials, or private system logs.
